At the end of January, we held our highly anticipated Graduate Showcase. A marvellous week packed with graduate film screenings, pitching, networking and of course, our Graduation Ceremony. Hosted at the British Film Institute in Southbank, we welcomed friends and family of our graduates as well as industry professionals to celebrate their magnificent work and give a wholehearted send off into the next phase of their film careers.

It’s safe to say we’ve had a strong start to 2024 with great achievements already made by our brilliant students, grads and alumni. Thanks to everyone who is taking part in the London Film School Graduate Showcase 2024. The event includes screening 72 films, showcasing the work of 36 scripts and hearing many pitches and presentations. The event took place at the BFI Southbank, and online for two weeks.

Recently our Culture & EDI Senior Manager, Dee Kerai, enjoyed a visit to Film School Fest Munich. He spoke at the event’s panel that explored how film schools can become more diverse and accessible in a sustainable way. Known for being very direct with his approach to this topic, Dee took part alongside co-panellists, Fatih Abay, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer at European Film Academy and Jakob Høgel, Head of Education and Research at National Film School of Denmark.
