About

Molly Silverstein graduated with a BA in American Studies from Yale University in 2011. Her undergraduate studies included extensive work in film studies, gender studies and history, culminating in a senior thesis that explored the representation of male prostitution in American film. She also worked on a large number of student films and wrote film criticism for the on-campus feminist publication. Her final project for the MA in Film Curation was Synesthetic Syncopation, a film program highlighting short films that visually interpret jazz music. In the future she would like to work in film festivals or in film distribution.
