Mahée started telling stories as soon as she could talk. Her first homemade short film was shown at more than twenty festivals around the world, prompting her to develop her craft at McGill University where she studied cultural studies for her Bachelors, and subsequently at London Film School where she obtained her Masters in Filmmaking. Mahée has worked in the industry in Canada, Australia and UK, and she directed both fiction and documentary films. She enjoys experimenting with different genres, sometimes even mixing them, and has a deep-rooted love for horror.
