Born in France, Leon graduated with a Baccalaureate, literary series with High-Honours in 2017 – its syllabus comprised mostly Languages, Philosophy and Cinema studies. This curriculum spawned a desire to write for the screen in an English-speaking country, and he started an Undergraduate degree in Film and TV Production at the University of York. While growing familiar with most aspects of filmmaking, Leon still wanted to mainly focus on screenwriting. Through his year at LFS, he found himself on the path to find his voice as a writer, and soon to complete his first independent short film he wrote and directed.
